As a member, you’ll meet interesting people, learn more about trees and the natural world, hear from engaging speakers and have opportunities to take part in TREES projects throughout our community.

Volunteer

Dig In and Make a Difference

You don’t have to be a tree expert to volunteer with TREES Inc. Just bring a willingness to help. Our volunteers plant trees, care for young trees and help with projects and events throughout the community.

Volunteering is also a great way to meet people, spend some time outdoors and see the difference your work makes right here in Terre Haute.

  • Tree Planting — Help us put new trees in the ground at community planting events.

  • Tree Care — Help water, mulch and care for young trees as they become established.

  • Events & Outreach — Help with community events, tree giveaways and other TREES activities.

Ready to Help?

Individuals, families and groups are welcome. No special experience is needed, and you do not need to be a TREES member to volunteer. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
