TREES INC.'s 2005 Dogwood Campaign

Neighborhood Tree Planting Project - Edgewood Grove
Co-sponsored by Budweiser through Dever Distributing Company
TREES and Edgewood Grove neighborhood association working together, planted 32 trees on April 2nd at the homes of neighbors who want to participate. 
Through a gift from Rural King, another 25 trees were planted in the Grove April 16th. Six were professionally planted.
Total ­ 63 dogwoods

Dogwood School Project - Meadows Elementary School
Celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day 2005 - Official City Arbor Day Celebration with TREES and Meadows School 
Fifth-grade students will put on a play and ceremony. TREES will provide a large dogwood partially planted, ready for school ceremony. This will be the official Arbor Day tree for 2005. TREES will give dogwood seedlings to all students, faculty and staff. Purdue Extension educators will teach about planting and care of the dogwood trees.

n  Apple House ­ committed to giving ten dogwood trees to be planted in the community ­ at "Terre Haute" at the Stadium Indiana trail. 
n  Metzger Landscape ­ planning a donated planting in public location. 
n  Mascari Landscape ­ will donate dogwood trees to Sacred Heart School.

Apple House and Fruitridge Gardens are selling dogwood trees at discounted prices. Ask at the check-out counter and be sure to mention the TREES Dogwood Project to be eligible for the best price.
